Chan Shao Wah - Coach & Consultant
Mr. Chan Shao Wah began his training with Master Wang Zhuanghong in 1993, learning the Water Style Taiji, Chinese philosophy and calligraphy until Master Wang passed away in 2008. After his retirement as a Chief Inspector of Police, Mr. Chan started his own business in grouper aquaculture and seafood trade. In between his busy schedules, he is a dedicated evangelist, coaching Taijiquan to his own students as well as running regular seminars and workshops in St. James’ Settlement. He was frequently invited as speakers on Taiji-related topics by educational institutes, corporations, government and non-government organizations. Besides Taiji, he has many other interests including diving, fishing, calligraphy, music, philosophy and Chinese Medicine. He and her spouse, Xiao Yue, have published three books of collections of essays reflecting on their personal experience in Taiji training.
Xiao Yue - Coach & Consultant
Xiao Yue followed the same Taiji journey as her spouse did and has been coaching Taiji for over 20 years. For leisure, she loves to do Qi Gong and gardening, and enjoys reading, and studies of Buddhism, I-Ching, and Chinese Medicine.
